Position: Project Coordinator
Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and reporting project activities to ensure that project objectives are achieved within the approved timeline, budget, and quality standards. The position serves as the primary link between project stakeholders, management, donors, and the implementation team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise all project activities in accordance with the approved work plan.
Prepare detailed project implementation plans, schedules, and timelines.
Ensure timely execution of project deliverables and milestones.
Monitor project progress and prepare periodic progress reports.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, donors, government departments, and partner organizations.
Organize meetings, workshops, seminars, training sessions, and field visits.
Maintain project documentation, records, and correspondence.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure efficient utilization of project funds.
Coordinate procurement activities in accordance with organizational policies.
Identify project risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and applicable laws.
Collect, compile, and analyze project data for monitoring and evaluation.
Facilitate preparation of technical and financial reports.
Supervise project staff and provide technical guidance where required.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure quality assurance of project outputs and deliverables.
Support project audits and evaluations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Director or Competent Authority.
B.E/ BS degree in Engineering or MBA degree from HEC recognized university with major course work in Project Management/ Planning and Administration.
5 years of experience in dealing with planning and projects, constructions, infrastructure development and engineering related practices at Government/ autonomous/semi-autonomous body or any national or international organization.
PEC Registration shall be deemed as a basic requirement for the post.
Preference shall be given candidates having Computer skills of engineering-related software and MS Office Package.
